NVS
uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt any sensitive
data which is transmitted via the Internet. SSL is an industry standard
method of encryption that makes it extremely difficult to read data
even if it is wrongly intercepted. It is supported by most current
popular browsers, including Microsoft Internet Exlorer and Netscape
Navigator.
There are three main reasons you should be interested in using
SSL:

Server authentication (guards
against impostors) |

Privacy using encryption (guards
against eavesdroppers) |
|

|
|
Data integrity (guards against
vandals) |

SSL is enabled by accessing
pages using the https protocol instead of the http protocol. Normally,
you would access NVS by entering the
URL http://www.nationsvs.com. Touse our web site through SSL, enter
a URL of https://www.nationsvs.com (note the "s" after "http").

NVS
will automatically switch to SSL (when required) if it detects you
are using: Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 or newer
Netscape Navigator 3 or newer |

Other browsers may be capable
of using SSL, but will not be automatically switched. Simply change
the "http" in your browser's address or location bar to
"https". Conversely, if your browser is having problems
with SSL, you can downgrade to the regular http protocol by changing
the "https" in the address bar to "http".
